Abstract

This article analyzes the artistic interpretation of women's fate in the works of one of the prominent representatives of modern Afghan literature, Akrom Usmon. The study examines the writer’s work “Az marg to zendagi” (“From Death to Life”) as the main source and provides a scholarly analysis of how the life destinies, inner experiences, and social roles of female characters are artistically portrayed in the work. Through the depiction of female characters, the author raises important social and moral issues existing in society. The article also reveals the significance of the writer’s role in addressing important social and spiritual problems through the images of women.
