<p>This section of the article analyzes international experience in combating corruption within the energy sector, specifically focusing on the examples of Georgia and Lithuania. It highlights Georgia's "zero tolerance" policy, the stages of energy infrastructure privatization, and institutional reforms in the industry. Additionally, the Lithuanian model of energy regulation, including official rotation mechanisms and conflict-of-interest controls, is examined. The study synthesizes international experts' findings on reducing corruption-prone monopoly rents and enhancing accountability across state institutions.</p>
