TASK-BASED LANGUAGE TEACHING AND THE TRADITIONAL METHODS
Abstract
This study investigates the effectiveness of task-based instruction (TBI) versus traditional methods. It compares TBI, which focuses on real communication, with traditional methods, which emphasize accuracy and rule learning. The study finds that TBI, with its emphasis on meaningful communication, is more effective in improving speaking and writing skills in EFL students compared to traditional methods.
