LINGUOCULTUROLOGICAL FEATURES OF NEOLOGISMS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE SYSTEM

Abstract

The linguistic and cultural study of English neologisms is associated not only with new discoveries in a particular field, but also with new ideas about some previously known phenomena and facts in the language. The result of the innovations is the enrichment of the national lexical composition of the language through borrowings. The donor language of such borrowings is mainly English, i.e. when the source of the formation of neologisms becomes English, but the English language itself often borrows new vocabulary from other languages.
