ELEMENTS OF BUDDHISM IN PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS EXPRESSING HAPPINESS IN CHINESE

Abstract

Buddhism came to China more than two thousand years ago, during which time it underwent various changes and developed. This religion has become an integral part of the Chinese way of life, and many religious components can be found in phraseological units. It is phraseological units that represent a naive picture of the world, a simple worldview of the people. In the process of studying the concept of “happiness”, we also became convinced that for the Chinese, religious rites and sacrifice are a guarantee and part of a happy life.
