THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSLATION STUDIES IN AFGHANISTAN AND ITS ROLE IN SOCIETAL PROGRESS

Abstract

This article examines the development of translation studies in Afghanistan and its significance in societal life. It analyzes the impact of literary, religious, and scientific works translated from foreign languages into Dari and Pashto on cultural and educational development. Additionally, the article provides a brief overview of existing challenges in the field and prospects for its future.
