Abstract

This article is devoted to the linguacultural analysis of the zoonym “dog” in Dari proverbs. Analytical, descriptive, classificatory, and linguacultural methods were used in the research. The purpose of this work is to identify the general symbolic meanings of the “dog” image in the folk consciousness through a linguacultural perspective in proverbs.
