IMPORTANCE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of new technologies in teaching English. Mobile apps and online learning platforms, virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence, gamification, social media, and speech recognition technology are just some of the new technologies being used in English language teaching. These technologies offer a range of benefits, including personalized learning experiences, instant feedback and assessment, and interactive and engaging learning materials. As technology continues to evolve, it is likely that we will see even more innovative and effective ways of teaching English.
